A firefly flickers

my eyes draw

skyward

tailing its trail

A briney breeze

whispers

I savor its breath

The Milky Way

glitters

like chains of shimmering silver

electric jellyfish

contracting – thrusting forward

through’n infinite

sparkling silent

black-velvet sea
